Safety & risk

A stronger account starts here.

Authenticator codes, passkeys, and the devices signed into your account.

Add an authenticator

Moon supports app-based two-factor authentication. Time-sensitive codes add a check to certain logins, withdrawals, sensitive actions and transactions. Moon recommends enabling it on every account. Follow the current setup instructions in your security settings.

Explore passkeys

Moon also supports passkey login using device security, such as facial recognition, a fingerprint or a device PIN. A passkey replaces entering an email and password for login. Check your device’s available options.

Review active access

Review logged-in devices and browser sessions in the active-sessions area. Disconnect sessions you do not recognize. Moon says resetting your password logs out every active session, requiring devices to sign in again. These features help protect access; they do not eliminate every account risk.
